Hurricane Dorian Update

The National Hurricane Center (nhc.noaa.gov) inform that Hurricane Dorian received the highest, fifth category on the Saffir-Simpson scale ("extremely dangerous"), becoming the strongest hurricane registered today in the region of the Northwestern Bahamas, with winds over 200 mph. That means that it carries great damage to infrastructure and floods, and often requires the complete evacuation of the population from its passage. Prepare yourself and your family. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said that every Florida resident should have 7 days of supplies on hand, including food, water, medicine, cash, and to have a plan in case of disaster.

Forecasts say Hurricane Dorian may spare the U.S. a direct hit, but will move close to Florida's east coast late Monday.
