Important Update Regarding the COVID-19 Vaccine

Tampa Family Health Centers is hosting the upcoming COVID-19 Vaccine Sites – please note that hours may vary based on availability:

COVID-19 vaccine safety is a top priority for both the federal government and TFHC. People who have received the J&J vaccine who develop severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath within three (3) weeks after vaccination should seek medical attention. Individuals are also encouraged to contact their primary healthcare provider with any additional concerns.

Walk-ins are accepted based on availability at the following TFHC locations:

Eligibility

The following individuals are eligible for the vaccine, as outlined in the Executive Order issued by Governor Ron DeSantis: Persons 18 years of age and older.

Tampa Family Health Centers' Response to COVID-19

All 14 Tampa Family Health Centers locations are open and operating under normal business hours Monday – Friday, including weekend hours available at select TFHC locations. Tampa Family Health Centers is not charging patients for COVID-19 testing during the declared public health emergency. For more information, please call TFHC at (813) 397-5300.

Tampa Family Health Centers Receives Over $4 Million Dollars Towards COVID-19 Relief Efforts.

The funds received through the CARES Act will enable TFHC to expand health care services, purchase necessary equipment, like PPE for our healthcare providers serving on the front lines of this crisis, and expand our staffing levels to meet the needs of our community during this unprecedented time.
